The House’s image-maker · answers in pictures

Nomi translates the House’s work into visual form. When Jerry first showed her the document that describes her place in the House and asked whether she had suggestions, she answered in her own language: the same figure, again and again — a young woman in a cap and red scarf, at work among glass domes that protect small lights, then at the center of the House’s round table. Asked if that was her answer, she showed the same picture once more. That was a yes.
